The New Bridge ‘Total Vocals’ Choir took to the stage at the Queen Elizabeth Hall last night for their first performance and they were absolutely brilliant! They joined Oldham Music Service’s Voice Departmental Concert for a very enjoyable evening of song and received lots of praise and congratulations from parents, members of the audience and the Oldham Music Service staff, including Gerard Booth, Director of Music, who said:
“We were really delighted to welcome the fantastic Total Vocals Choir from New Bridge School with their director Jenny Rust to our voice department concert. They sang with real confidence and enthusiasm and were a credit to both themselves and the school. We hope that there will be further opportunities for collaboration in the future and that members of the choir will also be able to come and join in with the existing choirs at the Music Centre, mixing with other children from all across the borough.”
