You may remember us telling you the exciting news before the Summer that Robert had successfully gained a permanent position with the G4S FM Team at the Royal Oldham Hospital after impressing them with his hard work and commitment during his Bridging the Gap placement last year.
Well, we’re thrilled to report that Robert is loving his new job and has gone from a contract of 15 hours a week……to 20 hours…..and now his permanent hours have been increased to 25 a week (and that’s not including all the overtime he regularly puts in!)
Just look at the lovely article that G4S have featured on page 3 of their Autumn staff newsletter..
Daniel Wood, our Director of Employment, is over the moon:
‘Robert worked so hard over the year and proved to be an invaluable member of the team at G4S. His success is down to his hard work and the amazing support that he received from his job coaches Alison Heyes and Amanda Bell. Robert worked tirelessly to make an impression and, as a result of that, successfully gained employment.
I am thrilled that after 6 years of running our Bridging the Gap supported internship project, the Royal Oldham Hospital continues to provide employment opportunities for our talented and highly skilled students. Well done, Rob!’
Can you tell we’re rather proud of what Robert’s achieved? Fantastic!!! 🙂
