Mr Smith took teams from New Bridge School and Hollinwood Academy to a basketball tournament at Manor Academy in Sale on Wednesday..
All their hard work in our lovely new sports hall at Hollinwood Academy has obviously paid off as both teams played some outstanding basketball, with New Bridge winning 5 games and Hollinwood winning 3!
Mr Smith is very proud of all the players and says they were a real credit to the New Bridge Group and gave 100% in the tournament – well done, everyone!
A special mention needs to go to the day’s star players – Jay and Kieran from New Bridge and Ethan and Cameron from Hollinwood Academy. We can’t wait for our next tournament!
