I’d like to welcome you all back from the Christmas break, I hope everyone is well and is ready for the next term ahead. It was great to have a long rest for two weeks with lots of food and drink. Not any more, it’s back to routine with sports, hard work and head boy duties.
It was a quiet first week back at New Bridge with a few things going on in the background. It was amazing to hear that our traditional Santa Stroll was a massive success once again, raising a sum of £1,247 with an additional £170 from our choir..
On Wednesday for our Activ8 DofE (Duke of Edinburgh) we took a walk up to the moors in Greenfield on a sunny but very cold day. The older boys and myself were looking on our fitbits, checking our results and by the end of the day I finished on a incredible 25,000 steps! It’s safe to say I stayed in unique shape over the Christmas break…
I’m sorry it’s a shorter blog than usual this week, hopefully I’ll have a bit more to report on next week. FA Cup 5-0 win for the Blues on Friday, I’ll take that!
I hope you enjoy your week,
Jack
