Firstly can I thank you all for working with the staff teams that have called to complete the student risk assessment – we are currently working through these and ensuring all aspects of the protocol are met so that it is of course safe for all. The latest update from Graham is here.
The staffing team continues to work alongside our students supporting learning through a virtual offer. This week Mr Lawrence sent through some work that the Activ8 boys have been doing – Anatomy and Physiology linked to the physical work that they do. Here is Jojo’s work..
Mr Lawrence has been really impressed with Jojo as he has worked hard and completed all the work set. Jojo has also been working closely with Mrs Nelson as he will be moving on to our Bridging the Gap offer at Royal Oldham Hospital in the future. Keep up all the hard work.
Ms Kirkland also wanted to share what her Pre Interns have been working on – you can see by the work that even in the situation we are in, our students are working hard to ensure they are not losing out on learning.
Jade has completed a training booklet about stock replenishment and stock rotation and has been nominated for Worker of the Week for completing her work on time and using the pages app on her iPad. Well done Jade, we are super proud of you!
Jacqueline, Tyler and Daniel have been doing a spot of cooking making spicy chicken pasta.
It’s a good job we made a non spicy version too, as Tyler’s chicken sauce was hot hot hot!
Well done guys for working together to make a delicious meal.
The staff team are continuing to send work to the students, making those weekly calls and ensuring that you are all keeping well. I have asked all staff to complete end of year reports for you and these will be sent out in the next couple of weeks.
