Weekly blog 07.10.22
This week I’m handing over to Mr Fennelly for all the news about what his Entitlement Base have been up to. By the looks of things, they’ve been extremely busy!
“In Ebase1 we have been having fun getting to know each other and settling in!
We have spent a lot of time doing our sensory diet…”
“We’ve been out and about in the community exploring our local parks!”
“We have been planting and taking care of some radishes during horticulture.”
“We have also been making displays based on Kandinsky during our Art lessons.”
“And we’ve celebrated one of our student’s 18th Birthdays!”
“Thanks for taking time to read our blog,
from Josh, Hannah, Megan, Courtney and all the young people in E- base 1!”
It is with much regret that I’m sharing with families the very upsetting news that one of our students, Aysha Bibi, sadly passed away on Wednesday morning. Aysha has been with the New Bridge family since year 7, spending a very enjoyable 5 years at New Bridge School. Aysha joined us at the Learning Centre in September, and although she’s been with us a relatively short time, she definitely made her mark on staff and students alike.
Aysha you’ll be greatly missed.
Our Thoughts and prayers are with Mum Kalsoom, Sister Hajjrah and the rest of the family at this difficult time.
