This week I’ve been delighted to welcome friends and families to the Learning Centre. Firstly, to Tuesday evenings parents evening where we were able to celebrate the achievements of our wonderful students. And then yesterday, we held our Christmas market which was a great success raising an amazing £460.

The Christmas Market was a great success with staff and students working hard to make different gifts, products, decorations etc.

It was lovely to see parents and carers there!

Thank you to everyone who supported in any way.

The LC student council agree which charities we will be supporting throughout the year. This year they feel it’s also important to raise monies for the Learning Centre and its students.

Some of the proceeds however will also be going to their chosen Christmas charity ITV’s ‘ Britain get talking’

Students felt that mental health support is very important to lots of young people, especially at this time of year. I’ll be sharing some of the highlights from this week’s student council meeting within next week’s blog.
