Dance

Dance gives all students the opportunity to express themselves both physically and non-verbally.  Dance has no boundaries for interpretation and develops both the mind and body. Students are taught following the National Curriculum Dance at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 with therapy based practices where appropriate. Dance is often taught in collaboration with other subjects.

New Bridge School is fortunate to have a state of the art theatre facility. The pupils and students will have opportunities both curricular and extra curricular to access and make use of these facilities.  The sprung wooden floor will accommodate dance and movement work.

The advanced theatre lighting and sound systems will allow the young people to experiment and experience this technological medium.
